What is a Verified Member?
A Verified Member is an Auction Zone member who has taken that extra step to indicate that they are a valid trustworthy user of the site through proof of their 'Zoner' or higher membership level, a rating of at least 95% and the lodging of 2 forms of identification to Auction Zone staff to process/validate. The first form of identification is to identify the person and the second document is to verify the person and their address. The person and address must match the account details of the user. A Verified Member is identified by the  icon next to their username.Auction Zone staff are pro-active in providing an Auction Site that is safer to trade on. We recommend members of the site Verify themselves with us and always recommend to take the right steps in dealing with anyone on any Auction Site. Read the 'Secure Trading & Privacy' help section for suggestions on minimising any potentially -dodgy- auction transaction. Verification is designed to give more of a comfort factor when dealing with other members during a transaction as they have proven themselves via their history with Auction Zone. |

How do I become a Verified Member?
To become a Verified Member you must meet all 3 of the following criteria: 1) You must have 3 or more feedbacks. (Zoner Membership level or higher) 2) You must have a feedback rating of 95% or higher. 3) You must email or post to Auction Zone a photo-copy of either one of: * Drivers Licence * Birth Certificate * Citizenship Certificate * Residency Certificate -AND- one of either an: * Electricity Bill * Gas Bill * Phone/Mobile Bill * Council Rates Bill * Bank Account Statement * Insurance bill * Postal Box rental statement for proof that your name, age and address matches your Auction Zone membership details. Business Name members If you are registering as a registered business, please send also a copy of your ABN (Australian Business Number) document with a business name that matches the business name you registered with on this auction site. Send to either: Postal Address - Auction Zone PO Box 779 Rozelle, NSW, 2039 -or- Email: admin@auctionzone.com.au Once verified, which may take a while to process (so be patient), a icon will appear next to your user name. This will remain here forever unless a dispute against you occurs and it is deemed by Auction Zone you have committed an offence against the Terms and Conditions of Auction Zone.
